Casey and Bella is a book series and brand based on my two real dogs. Casey is a Jack Russell Terrier; Bella is a Tea Cup Yorkie. I started the Casey and Bella book series and the Casey and Bella annual writing contest to help children become published authors and teach them they can make any dream come true when they: Believe in themselves, have a positive attitude, and stay in school! Each year through the Casey and Bella Writing Contest, a child becomes a published author and thousands of children are recognized for their effort.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students write and submit stories about where Casey and Bella should go next. The student who wins gets his/her book published as the next book in the Casey and Bella series in addition to other prizes. Please click to view a video about the writing contest.

Each Casey and Bella book in the series supports a not-for-profit charity to help create awareness about important causes. My long-term goal is to form the Casey and Bella Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which will help special charities that are in need of support.
