Cuddly Books Manager
Cuddly Books Manager (“the app”) is a private tool operated by Prashant Shevade to manage the Cuddly Books YouTube channel (youtube.com/@CuddlyBooks). It is used only by the channel's owner and is not offered to the public. The rest of this policy explains what Google user data the app accesses and how that data is used, stored and protected.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the app accesses
Only after the channel owner signs in with Google and grants permission, the app accesses, for the Cuddly Books channel only:
- the channel's basic information (name, ID, audience setting);
- the channel's videos and their titles, descriptions, tags, privacy settings, thumbnails and captions;
- the channel's playlists;
- the channel's statistics and YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, subscribers, traffic sources, countries, device types). These reports are aggregated and contain no information about individual viewers.
Permissions requested: youtube.upload, youtube.force-ssl and
yt-analytics.readonly.
How the data is used
- To upload the channel's own videos and set their details, subtitles, thumbnails and playlists.
- To schedule or publish videos when the channel owner decides.
- To show the channel owner reports on how the channel is performing.
The data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with or transferred to any third party. The app collects no personal information from viewers of the channel, including children. Viewers use YouTube itself, under YouTube's and Google's own policies.
Storage and security
- The sign-in token and the channel's statistics are stored on a private server owned and operated by Prashant Shevade, reachable only from his private network and protected by access controls.
- The sign-in token is kept out of backups. Statistics and video records are kept as a history for the channel owner's reports.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page (Google Account → Security → Third-party apps & services). After revocation the app can no longer reach the channel, and any stored data can be deleted on request.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
